Have you been following newly elected Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, and his daily coronavirus press conferences? Probably not. As child of the Commonwealth, I have been tuning in. Governor Beshear has received widespread acclaim for his thoughtful, prepared, diligent response to the pandemic. On Tuesday, he signed off with a tribute to adopted son John Prine, who passed away after a short battle with the virus. Kentucky has adopted a way to pay respects to those who have succumbed to COVID-19, shining a green light in their honor.
